Guard yourself against Division
Division is one of the enemy’s most subtle and destructive tools, and Scripture warns us clearly about its danger. In this message, Guard Yourself Against Division, we will be reminded of our calling to walk “worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called” (Ephesians 4:1–6), striving to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Jesus Himself declared that “every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation” (Matthew 12:25), showing us that division weakens homes, churches, and communities.
Through God’s Word, we will learn how humility, meekness, longsuffering, and forgiveness are not optional—they are essential safeguards for unity. Colossians 3:13 calls us to forbear one another and forgive as Christ forgave us, closing the door to offense, bitterness, and strife. This sermon will challenge us to examine our hearts, our words, and our attitudes, and to intentionally guard ourselves against anything that threatens the unity God desires for His people.
Come ready to be encouraged, convicted, and equipped to stand together—one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all.
