Living with the end on mind
Life is not just about the here and now—it’s about preparing for what is to come. In 2 Kings 2:1-4, we see Elijah walking faithfully, knowing his time was near. Jesus reminds us in Luke 21:28 to lift up our heads, for our redemption draws near. Paul encourages the church in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 with the blessed hope of Christ’s return, while Revelation 22:20 declares, “Surely I come quickly.” And through it all, Hebrews 13:8 reassures us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
This message calls us to live every day with eternity in view—walking faithfully, watching expectantly, and waiting confidently. When we live with the end in mind, we can endure trials, make wise choices, and find peace in knowing that our Savior is coming again.
